Expatriates can enroll in public and private schools in the UAE;  But Dubai public school tuition is free only for citizens of this city.

The cost of education for immigrants in public schools is 6000 dirhams per year.

The average tuition fee of a private kindergarten in Dubai is between 1200 and 4000 dirhams per month.

Dubai has more than 200 private schools that enroll about 300,000 students.

The government has banned schools from raising exorbitant annual fees, with fees for an international school ranging from AED 12,723 to AED 64,093.

Expats also have the opportunity to study in the best universities in the UAE.  You should note that the language of instruction in public universities is Arabic, and the possibility of studying in English is provided in private universities in Dubai.

The average undergraduate tuition is 173,400 to 54,800 dirhams.

Cost of insurance and medical care

  • According to the new rules set by the UAE Health Department, all residents,
    including expatriates, must be covered by health insurance
  • Local people can be covered by the government’s financing plan, and expats
    will be covered by private insurance plans
  • Dubai offers medical facilities to the locals completely free of charge
  • Immigrants can use a 50% discount on the cost through their health cards
  • Dubai health insurance is equal to 120 dirhams for expats up to 10 years old
    and 320 dirhams for expats 18 years old and above
